Totally works with hospitals, commissioners and trusts to provide high quality elective care, dermatology and therapy services.
Elective care services cover a range of surgical and medical specialities through insourcing, outsourcing and AQP arrangements, all free at the point of treatment for patients.
Insourcing
Insourcing services enable trusts to retain capacity planning in-house whilst providing increased visibility of the patient pathway and greater resilience of local services. Totally provides entire teams of highly specialised substantive consultants across a range of medical and surgical specialities, including anaesthetists, advanced nurse practitioners, senior lead nurses, theatre nurses, HCAs, decon technicians and clinical physiologists who utilise trusts facilities during weekends and bank holidays to target the reduction of waiting lists.
Outsourcing
Totally’s outsourcing services help healthcare commissioners and hospitals tackle waiting lists. We offer a range of specialties which The Outsourced Clinical Services Framework allows approved organisations to enablepurchase additional clinical capacity to enable patients to be seen and treated by an alternative provider at their facilities for either the as part of a full patient pathway or elements of it, free at the point of treatment to the patient. Clinical services cover all HRG codes and Treatment Function Codes, all clinical specialties, and additional services such as administrative support, patient booking services, theatre provision and support. In one region, we have delivered 20,000 outpatient episodes for a single Trust, across a range of specialities, in the last year. In addition, we can support the delivery of services through our Any Qualified Provider status.
Community dermatology
Totally provides a range of outpatient and community-based and secondary care dermatology services as well as secondary care dermatology services on behalf of the NHS. The service provides assessments, diagnoses and treatments of skin conditions, delivered by doctors and nurses who are specialists in skin conditions to speed up access to specialist care and support the reduction of waiting lists.
Referral management services
Totally offers its Rapid Specialist Opinion Servicereferral management services to help CCGs commissioners and trusts reduce waiting lists by ensuring referrals into specialist health services are right first time. We triage referrals across multiple different clinical specialities including cardiology, dermatology, gastroenterology and gynaecology with proven success in reducing unnecessary elective care referrals, reducing elective admissions and increasing the number of patients supported through other services.
Therapies
We deliver physiotherapy (full musculoskeletal services to GP surgeries through first contact practitioner and in health centres, prisons and gym environments), podiatry services and health coaching supporting long-term condition management and early discharge services.
